A hand-curated directory of the advertising, branding, and design agencies, and the independent creatives, doing the best work in the country.
There was never one place to find them. The best agencies and creatives have always been scattered across bookmarks, award annuals, and word of mouth. You found them slowly, or you didn't. Agency Showcase began as a private list of the studios whose work made everyone else hungrier, kept in one place for the simple pleasure of returning to it.
This is that list, finally given a face. Every listing chosen by hand, opinionated on purpose, and built to grow. No logins, no lead-gen wall, no algorithm deciding what you see. Just an easy way through the work that deserves your attention, and a little courage worth stealing.
Agencies and creatives are judged first on the quality, craft, and originality of the work. The portfolio is the application. Beyond the work itself, other factors weigh in: the strength of the case studies, industry reputation and recognition, the quality and consistency of the client roster, depth of specialization, the caliber of a studio's own brand and site, and longevity — sustained output over years, not one lucky campaign. No single factor guarantees inclusion. The work always comes first.
A few things stay true no matter what: a slick sales page wrapped around mediocre work won't make it in, and plenty of submissions don't make the cut. That's what keeps the bar meaningful. Hiring status is re-checked on a regular cycle so the job signals stay honest instead of going stale.
Agency Showcase is independently curated. No one can pay for a listing, a higher placement, or a more favorable write-up, and submitting work carries no fee and no advantage. All editorial decisions are made on the work alone. If sponsored placements ever appear on the site, they will be clearly labeled and kept separate from the curated list.
Factual corrections are always welcome. If a listing goes out of date or gets something wrong, send a note through the form on the homepage and it will be reviewed and updated.
Agencies span 16 city markets across the US, from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco to Austin, Atlanta, Portland, and Minneapolis, plus a global category for shops operating across multiple countries. Creatives are grouped by craft: creative directors, art directors, copywriters, motion designers, and graphic designers.
If you run an agency, or you're an independent creative whose work belongs here, send it through the form on the homepage with your name, website, and a short note. Submissions are reviewed regularly, and strong work is what gets you in.
